Professor Dong Huiliang is a retired Professor from Shanghai Business School with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and academic administration. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Heilongjiang University of Commerce (now Harbin University of Commerce) and a Master’s Degree from the School of Business Administration at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He also served as a Visiting Scholar at Macquarie University, Australia, further strengthening his international academic exposure.

During his distinguished career, Professor Dong served as the Vice President of Jiangsu Commercial Management Cadre College (now Jiangsu Vocational and Technical College of Commerce and Trade). He also held the position of Dean of the Department of Finance and Economics at Shanghai Business School and was a Member of the Academic Committee and the Professional Title Appointment Committee of the institution.

In addition to his academic leadership roles, he has contributed significantly to professional education and industry development. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Shanghai National Accounting Institute and as a Visiting Professor at the International Business Officials Training Base (Shanghai) under the Ministry of Commerce. He has also been associated with the Shanghai Financial and Accounting Management Center as an Expert.

Professor Dong has played an active role in professional bodies, serving as the Vice President and Director of the Academic Committee of the Shanghai Commercial Accounting Society. He has also contributed to corporate governance and industry advisory services as an Independent Director and External Expert for various enterprises.
